Five ways to make video without a film crew

As the Coronavirus is limiting production companies’ ability to film across the world, we thought it would be wise to put together a handy top tips blog on how you can keep content rolling out across your platforms.

Here are our top five things you should be doing.

Animation

As much as we’d love to see you, it’s not necessarily needed to in the process of building an animation! Everything can be arranged over email, phone and online video conferencing. Bringing your product, case study or story to life through animation is an incredibly engaging way to keep your audience watching. This could be a one-off piece of content or a campaign.

Re-purpose existing content

If your company has previously shot content for you, this can always be repurposed. With the power of editing shots for one project can say something completely different for something else!

It’s a great way to get the most value from what you’ve already filmed and keep your marketing platforms active.

Stock video

The libraries of stock video have grown over the last few years and you can now get pretty much any shot you want (don’t quote us on that!)

Stock film, with voiceover and animated text is a cost-effective way of creating quick, short and sharp messages to keep people engaged with your brand.

Plan future content

When all this has blown over, you’ll want to be ready to hit the ground running.

We will happily have conversations now about plans for new projects, it’s better to be ahead of the game so everything is ready to go when the time is right!

User generated content

Make it yourself! We will happily give you some top tips on how to create content yourself from home which can be utilised on online platforms. We’re just a phone call away…
