Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll be helping shape the strategic direction, managing the day-to-day activities and reporting the outcomes.

The role

  • Working on strategic planning to help identify the target audiences and develop the marketing strategy to assist in effective communications initiatives
  • Translate the marketing strategy into an effective, efficient and compelling annual marketing plan that will deliver the business growth strategies with set budgets and timelines
  • Prioritise marketing activities and resources to deliver a return on investment
  • Taking ownership and managing all marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels including email marketing, SEO, PPC/paid search, content development and live events
  • Take ownership for raising the organisation’s profile offline and online, developing thought leadership, creating compelling case studies, blogs and other material relating to the business
  • Project manage live events such as webinars and exhibiting at relevant industry events
  • Coordinate the creation of all marketing assets either with the internal team or external agencies
  • Support in the development and management of a monthly marketing report to track data which supports improved decision-making
  • Track conversion rates and tweak campaigns thereafter where needed
  • Be the steward of the brand and ensure that all marketing and client-facing activities are in keeping with the brand
  • Support the managing of the business profile in the Yorkshire region and wider area including PR and award submissions
  • You will be the go-to person for suppliers, contracted agencies and for anything marketing-related


  • A digitally-savvy marketer with a creative eye and the ability to think differently
  • 3+ years marketing experience, ideally in a B2B role
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Performance marketing experience with a proven record of developing and implementing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Ideally, to have experience in a related B2B environment or with B2B experience within a wider role
  • Demonstrates the ability to turn marketing strategy into a compelling, creative, targeted and results-oriented marketing plan
  • Highly organised and can demonstrate initiative and ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects
  • Good communicator who can demonstrate the ability to engage at all levels
  • Has a positive and engaging style with a willingness to roll-up their sleeves and pitch-in on marketing and business development activities
  • Demonstrates a collaborative style and seeks-out opportunities to develop the marketing and business development agenda
