Reel Film is an award-winning video and animation production company, currently in the process of recruiting an organised, creative and committed Producer to join the team here at Reel Film. You’ll be working across our diverse client base in multiple industries and leading projects on a daily basis.

You’ll be working on video and animation projects as well as any other emerging technologies that we use in the work of production. You will be able to intercept, interpret and share important information effectively. You will be the go-to person for the production team, client and suppliers on specific projects. You will be project managing our clients budgets, timescales and objectives whilst co-ordinating both internally and externally.

This position reports to the Producer Manager.

The role

  • You should be a highly organised and creative producer to join the team at Reel Film

  • You are responsible for the projects you are given, you should be the driving force behind the creativity on our work for our clients, while ensuring it meets the required brief. You will work on our concepts, storyboards and scripts in this process. You will be the beating heart of projects you are running

  • You will have excellent communication and organisational skills. An ability to organise and direct shoots, keeping them on time, interact with clients, and get the best out of people on camera is essential

  • You will also work on our animation projects with the motion graphics team, feeding back on designs and builds while working with the client and team around you

  • You will work well under pressure and be a good problem solver

  • You will be working with all aspects of the creative team seeing ideas through from initial concept to finished product on all our video and animation projects

  • You will be responsible for the output of our work whilst maintaining and improving our high standards

  • You will be responsible for driving projects forward creatively and logistically, bringing the brief to life

  • You’ll be comfortable working with third party suppliers and freelancers as well as talent agencies

  • You will be able to work with timescales and budgets with ease

  • You will be good with client communication, keeping them informed every step of the way

  • You will also have great internal communication skills, keeping the production team in the loop as a project progresses

  • A big part of your job is working with the editors to construct the film in post-production or working with motion designers on the animation, this is something you will be comfortable doing

  • Developing other members of the production team, such as your production assistants, is a key part of your role

  • Part of your role will involve delegation – this should be something you are comfortable with

  • You must be comfortable with some unsociable working hours on evenings and weekends

Requirements

  • A Producer with a creative eye and fantastic organisational skills

  • Minimum two years experience as a Producer

  • Full clean driving license

  • Has a positive and engaging style with a can-do attitude

  • Highly organised and can demonstrate initiative and ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects

  • Ideally, to have experience on business projects in B2B and B2B communications

  • A good communicator who can demonstrate the ability to engage at all levels

  • Demonstrates a collaborative style and seeks-out opportunities to develop projects creatively

  • Fluent in written and spoken English with good numeric skills
