Bringing personalisation to the screen for Contentful through immersive event video content
Project Objectives
Street Agency asked us to support them with videos for Contentful. Asked to bring together social-first assets for proliferation across their channels, we produced over 15+ videos from an event shot in the Great British Bake Off tent as part of an event with key customers.
Part of the filming day focused on capturing interviews at the baking stations and a panel discussion.
Our Solution
This setup allowed us to create an event video and multiple assets focusing in on the benefits and features of Contentful's platform.
Different content featured different speakers and showcased different elements of personalisation in the software to give the client dynamic and wide-ranging video content for long-term use in a fun and punchy style.
F&Qs: Event Video Production
How much does immersive event video production cost?
UK event video costs depend on filming hours, crew size, multi-camera coverage, audio needs and deliverables (highlights, interviews, social cutdowns), so pricing is usually scoped per event.
How do you plan event video coverage for a brand activation or immersive event?
The best approach is a shot list tied to event objectives: key moments, guest reactions, branded touchpoints, speaker soundbites and a clear schedule for filming and approvals on the day.
What deliverables should event managers request from an immersive event videographer?
Most teams request a hero highlight film, short social edits (6–30 seconds), interview clips and a library of b-roll for ongoing marketing across web, email and paid social. You can do a lot more though!
How fast can an immersive event video be edited and delivered after the event?
Many UK brands aim for a “next-day” teaser (24–48 hours) plus a polished highlight edit within 5 - 10 working days, depending on feedback rounds and the number of versions needed.
How do you repurpose an immersive event video into a full content campaign?
Start with a hero edit, then create themed cutdowns (product, people, atmosphere, testimonials), stills/grabs and a b-roll library so brand teams can publish for weeks after the event.
What KPIs should marketing managers track for event video campaigns?
Common KPIs include video views and completion rate, engagement, click-through to landing pages, lead capture and content reuse by partners. Sign-ups for a following event is also a good barometer!
