Project Objectives

HRH Hotel Group came to us with a clear challenge: create a suite of films that could span eight distinct brands and properties - without losing what makes each one special. They also wanted an all-encompassing brand film showing their range of properties.

Every location’s personality needed to shine on screen across their hotels, bars and pubs, while also capturing the character of the surrounding area so each film felt rooted in its destination.

The goals were simple and commercial: strengthen brand awareness, drive more bookings and encourage guests to spend more across the on-site experience during their stay.

Our Solution

We developed a dedicated storyboard and treatment for each property before filming, ensuring every hotel, bar and pub had a clear creative direction and its own distinctive tone. We worked with the local teams to understand the place's character and target customer.

On shoot, we used a mix of actors and real lifestyle moments to create premium, story-led films - designed from the outset to be cut into short, vibrant edits for social and digital campaigns.

The result was a set of films that let each location’s personality lead, while still feeling unmistakably part of one cohesive brand world - capturing HRH’s values, experience and offering across the group.

A strong luxury hotel brand film does more than show rooms - it sells the feeling of the stay. The best hotel films focus on atmosphere, service and experience: arrival, interiors, food and drink, spa/leisure and the small details that signal “premium” on screen.

What’s the best video length for a hotel website and social media?

For luxury hotels, the “best” length depends on where the video will live:

  • Hotel website hero film: often performs best around 60 - 120 seconds (enough time to build emotion and trust)
  • Paid social ads (Meta/Instagram/LinkedIn): typically 15 - 30 seconds for attention and action
