Capturing the Manufacturing Process in our Brand Video for the Wetherby Laroc Group
Project Objectives
Wetherby Laroc Group is one of the leading manufacturers of sustainable building products, with their rendering systems and façade technology featuring on numerous residential properties around the UK. With over 45 years in the industry, they felt it was high time that their manufacturing process was committed to film in order to boost brand awareness and showcase the craftsmanship and expertise that went into developing their products.
When Wetherby Laroc approached us to bring their vision to life, we were confident that we could capture every step in their manufacturing journey, showcasing their ongoing development and translating their processes into a brand video fit for a company at the top of their industry.
Our Solution
Following our first meeting with Wetherby Laroc, we outlined their manufacturing process in a series of storyboards, illustrating every aspect of the journey from design and development through to production and distribution. While we were keen to demonstrate the scope of their operation with sweeping drone shot, we wanted to devote equal time to the people behind the products with documentary-style photography to highlight the creative minds at the heart of the business.
Once they were satisfied with our proposal, we started our three-day shoot, filming on location at their offices and warehouses, as well as on the construction sites and residential estates featuring their rendering systems. This allowed us to shine a spotlight on the essential work of every employee with the Wetherby Laroc Group, from their researchers to their warehouse workers, while demonstrating the practical application of their industry-leading product.
After we called cut, our raw footage was passed on to our editors so that they could start assembling the finished video. As the brand video was going to be used across the Wetherby Laroc Group website, sales presentations and their social media, we created alternate versions that were optimised for each channel.
