Based in the UK and working with organisations across the country and internationally, we handle the full e‑learning video production process - from initial concept and scripting through to filming, animation, editing and delivery in the formats your Learning Management System (LMS) or platform needs.

Whether you’re building a brand‑new online training programme or refreshing existing content, we’ll help you create professional, on‑brand e‑learning videos that improve understanding, boost completion rates and reduce training time.

Why choose e‑learning video production?

1. Consistent training, every time

With e‑learning video, every learner gets the same clear, accurate message - whether they’re in the next room or on the other side of the world. No more variation between trainers or sessions.

2. Scale your training without scaling your costs

Once produced, your e‑learning videos can be reused, updated and repurposed across teams, departments and locations - making it far more cost‑effective than repeated in‑person sessions.

3. Make complex topics simple

Animation, motion graphics and screen capture allow us to break down complex processes, systems and ideas into visual, step‑by‑step explanations that are easier to understand and remember.

4. Improve engagement and completion rates

Well‑structured, professionally produced training videos keep learners’ attention for longer. Combined with quizzes, downloads and interactive elements, they can significantly improve completion and pass rates.

5. Accessible, flexible learning

Learners can pause, rewind and revisit content whenever they need to. Subtitles, voiceover, multiple language versions and accessible design help you reach a wider audience and meet compliance requirements.

6. Measurable impact

When integrated with your LMS or learning platform, e‑learning video gives you data on who has completed training, how they’ve performed and where they may need additional support.

A new video training course supporting mental health in families

Customer facing e-learning video production

NTH Solutions in collaboration with Blue Talking Therapies commissioned their second video training course with us, this time about mental health within families and how to support it.

This 17-module course needed over 20 videos created as part of it to support families with children and relationships, along with some role-playing exercises and techniques.

Educating the nation on the benefits of sourdough through Breaducation

YouTube series e-learning video production

Jason's wanted to educate the nation on the benefits, tricks and uses of their wonderful sourdough. Working with Finn agency, Jasons wanted to bring the brand to the screen through digital and social content that would allow them to get in front of new faces and educate their existing audience base with long-lasting and educational content.

This needed dynamic content and stunning sourdough shots. Working with Finn, Breaducation had the creative for Jason (the Founder) to lead the videos whilst including his friends from nutritionists, produce makers, chefs and fitness coaches. We made ten videos to form the first set of “Breaducation” videos with all pre-production, production and post-production taken care of in-house to create a set of social-friendly videos.

FAQ

What is e‑learning video production?

E‑learning video production is the process of planning, scripting, filming, animating and editing video content specifically designed for online learning. This can include training modules, tutorials, explainer videos, onboarding content, software walk‑throughs and full online courses.

How long should an e‑learning video be?

It depends on the topic and audience, but we typically recommend short, focused modules of 2–10 minutes each. Longer courses can be broken into a series of bite‑sized videos to keep learners engaged and make it easier to revisit specific sections.

Do you provide animation and screen recordings as well as live‑action?

We do. Reel Film specialises in both video production and animation, and many e‑learning projects use a mix of live‑action, motion graphics, screen capture and voiceover. We’ll recommend the best approach based on your content and budget.

Can you integrate with our LMS or online learning platform?

We supply video files in the formats most LMS platforms require, and we’re happy to liaise with your internal team or provider to make sure everything works smoothly. If you’re unsure what you need, we can help you figure that out at the start of the project.

How much does e‑learning video production cost?

Costs vary depending on the number of videos, length, complexity (e.g. animation vs simple talking head), locations and any additional languages or versions. Most e‑learning projects we deliver sit within a defined budget range, and we’ll always provide a clear, itemised quote before we start.

Can you update or repurpose our existing training content?

Yes. We can refresh older training videos with new branding, updated messaging, additional languages or revised content. We can also turn existing in‑person training materials, slide decks or manuals into structured e‑learning video modules.
